What we collect

VoxFree stores the account username you choose, a salted password hash, your plan tier, activation-code status, daily usage counters, and data needed to provide generated audio and document projects.

If you submit the feedback form, VoxFree stores the category, message, page path, optional reply email, and the associated account identity when you are signed in. Feedback is stored separately from product analytics.

VoxFree stores payment order identifiers, status, and Pro-fulfillment records. PayPal hosts checkout and handles PayPal account and payment card details; raw card numbers, expiry dates, and security codes never pass through VoxFree.

How we use data

We use account and usage data to authenticate users, enforce quotas, prevent abuse, provide downloads, and maintain the service.

Generated text, imported documents, URLs, PDFs, audio files, subtitles, and project metadata are processed to provide the text-to-speech and long-form document workflow.

Feedback is used to investigate reported problems, improve the product, and reply when an email address is supplied.

Cookies and analytics

Authentication uses an httpOnly session cookie. VoxFree uses lightweight first-party product analytics to count page views, key button clicks, paywall views, and checkout funnel steps. We do not store submitted text, imported documents, audio contents, or payment card details in analytics events.

Feedback analytics contain only the selected category and submission outcome. They do not contain the message or reply email.

External analytics scripts are optional and only load when configured by VoxFree.

Cloudflare and hosting providers may process technical request data such as IP address, user agent, and security signals. VoxFree hashes rate-limit identities for feedback abuse prevention and does not store raw IP addresses in the feedback database.

Retention and requests

Document-project text, audio, subtitles, and project metadata are retained for 30 days after the project's last update, then removed when that account next uses the document workbench. Account, usage, payment-fulfillment, and feedback records may be kept longer as needed to operate and support the service unless deletion is requested or required by law.
