VoxFree

Commercial License

Last updated: June 23, 2026

Yours to use commercially

Audio you generate with VoxFree is yours to use in commercial projects — on the free tier and on Pro. That includes monetized YouTube videos, TikTok and Shorts, podcasts, audiobooks, online courses, e-learning, apps, games, ads, and client work.

No attribution is required. Crediting VoxFree is appreciated but never a condition of use.

Why we can offer this

VoxFree runs self-hosted, permissively licensed open-source speech models (Apache-2.0). Unlike services that resell a metered third-party API, there is no per-character licensing cost that forces commercial-use restrictions onto the free tier.

The Pro tier does not sell a different license — the commercial terms are identical. Pro adds workflow capacity: the long-form document → audio workbench, a 50,000-character request limit, and subtitle export.

What is not allowed

Do not present generated audio as a recording of a real, identifiable person, or use it for impersonation, fraud, or deception.

Do not use generated audio for illegal content, harassment, or the other activities prohibited by our Terms of Service.

Do not resell raw access to the VoxFree API itself as a competing speech-generation service. Selling content you create with the audio is always fine.

Common questions

Can I monetize videos that use free-tier audio? Yes. The free tier carries the same commercial-use permission as Pro.

Do I need to keep proof of my plan? No. Permission attaches to the audio when you generate it and does not expire if your Pro access ends.
